We’re at a birthday party at kids gym. Margot doesn’t want to play, but is very happy with the Mac and cheese and watching.
Kim bought two white strawberry plants to add to the strawberry wall. They are small, but delicious. I’ve got a few empty spots on the wall, I might need to find a few more of these plants. Only issue now is Margot wants to pick
Hazel was VERY excited to ski her first Black Diamond runs yesterday. She did an awesome job.
Hazel earned some video time, so I was letting them watch a little. I was doing a few things on the computer, and looked up to see them watching like this.
"Nature Girl" wanted a magic wand. We made two, one for each of them. Hazel was thrilled. The shaft is decorated with butterflies and ladybugs.
Hazel has been proudly telling us about her group of friends at school, and how they’ve dubbed themselves the "Nature Team" because they are the kids not afraid to touch bugs. Hazel’s "super powers" as Nature Girl is that she can apparently make bushes quickly
We rarely watch movies or TV, but tonight we did, with a picnic in the living room. The Incredibles was too scary, but A Bugs Life is only mildly too scary. It’s OK with snuggling.
It blows me away that Hazel can write in two completely different writing systems. Love her school.
