Mom and Dad, You guys got Hazel Where the Sidewalk Ends For Christmas when she was 1 year old. Hazel is finally getting old enough to really love this book of silly poems, especially the one of the little girl who pretends to be sick

We have had a wonderful time on our trip so far. Our 3 day trip to Ha Long Bay and its archipelago islands has been amazing and filled with swimming in warm waters, jumping off the back of the boat, kayaking, and great seafood. Margot

Hundreds of dollars worth of toys in the house, and Margot has been playing with a box of rocks for a week…. 🙂

We were in another part of the museum, and they announced that they were doing the bee talk and dance.I asked her if she wanted to go. Her response: (Serious face) "Welllllllll, I’ve been to the bee dance before, but it’s been awhile and I

Margot’s first ride. Hazel’s first time on the trotting pony.

Likes pulling all the things out of the light display and throwing them on the ground

Margot loves the toy lawnmower

"It’s fun that we can investigate some dirt. "

Hazel wrote me a note…

Margot now has correctly signed: Milk Water More All done Up Yes No

Hazel was inspired by a Sid the Science kid cartoon and decided she wanted to “hunt for dirt and investigate what’s in dirt.” Hazel’s backpack contained a notebook, pen, and magnifying glass. Margot was the sidekick helper; Margot’s backpack was empty.

Margot is super clingy today. Happy on my lap, or being held, but otherwise SCREAMING.

Margot got a book off the shelf, climbed into a chair, started turning the pages and clapping at each one.
