Hazel and Margot hunting for dirt
Hazel was inspired by a Sid the Science kid cartoon and decided she wanted to “hunt for dirt and investigate what’s in dirt.” Hazel’s backpack contained a notebook, pen, and magnifying glass. Margot was the sidekick helper; Margot’s backpack was empty.

Margot is super clingy today. Happy on my lap, or being held, but otherwise SCREAMING.

Margot got a book off the shelf, climbed into a chair, started turning the pages and clapping at each one.
Peanut butter jar
Margot kept trying to use a peanut butter jar as a stool. Kept getting upset that it didn’t work, she kept falling over. Pleased as punch when she finally got it.
