Catalina Zipline

We all went to Catalina so that Hazel could get her scuba certification. Margot and Kim went to the Zipline, and I handed Margot my GoPro and asked her to film. She did an amazing job and produced just about the cutest video you can imagine.

Covid-19

Margot and Hazel are playing in the living room, and our of nowhere Margot says, in a uncharacteristically serious little voice looks at Hazel and says: " I know right now is a tough time for a lot of people, so thank you for making my life better right now"

Saving

Margot painted a rainbow.

She painted it with raindrops because "you can’t have a rainbow with out rain" which was something we had talked about on Moo’rea

Making a wish

I read Margot a Dora the Explorer book and at the end, it says to make a wish. Kim: Margot, make a wish! Margot: ok, I wish for a wonderful mommy. Yay, I have one! Maybe the sweetest spontaneous sentiment ever said to me. 🙂

Fairy wings

Me in the bathroom, door closed. From the hall I hear Margot: Daddy, are you almost done? Me " Yes, are you ready to go to the store? " Margot " yes, I have fairy wings on" Me "Ok" I walk out. ALL she has on is fairy wings.

Margot loves to "write books". We staple paper together for her. She dictates the words and then draws the pictures.
