Margot and I are out and about today. Since I let Hazel have a "Anything you want " treat at Starbucks the other day, I made the same offer to Margot. She chose the organic fruit squeeze pouch.
I asked her why she chose that.
"It have lid. Me like lids"
She’s been taking a slurp, put the lid on, sit for minute, remove lid, take another slurp, out lid back on. Repeat with a big smile and a laugh each time.
Margot has been drawing friendly monsters, and I’m really impressed. She drew this for Kim for mother’s Day.
Hazel had her first game with the school soccer team. She played super well, especially considering it’s been 4+ months since she played a game.

We took the girls for the long promised and long overdue ear piercing, and then for some nice indian food after.
Hazel had a poetry assignment for school. They had to create a book with a certain number of different styles of poems, including haikus, cinquain, diamante, ballads, ode, and elegy.
We did Tuesday tacos, and Margot was playing with my phone while we waited. She said she was trying to look mysterious.
