As we got into the car, Hazel was a little upset. She looked at Kim and said, “Mommy sit” and pointed to the seat next to her car seat. Kim agreed. Then Hazel said, “Daddy sit” and pointed to the other seat in the back of the car.

I said, “Hazel, someone has to drive the car”.

She looked at me and said, without missing a beat, “Hazel drive”.

This was right after we get to the car from picking her up from day care. When she approached the car, she said, “drive home.”
