Had kind of a rough morning. Hazel was just super cranky, and I suspected tired. getting upset over everything. After an early lunch, I told her she could have "quiet time" or a nap.
H: I’m not tired, I don’t want a nap.
G: ok, then have quiet time.
H: but I’m afraid I might be lonely.
Me a little desperate at this point.
G: ok, then let’s do quiet time together. I’ll bring my book.
H: but I want you to go to sleep next to me, for when I want a nap.
G: uh, ok.
So I laid down on the bed. Hazel "read" books for less than 5 minutes, then laid down and fell promptly asleep.
