Our goal had been to visit Mesa Verde, but snow made the roads bad and I wasn’t confident getting in and out, so we saw it from a distance, but ended up diverting to Durango. We ended up having a super nice day, with sledding, building snowmen, and a visit to a cute bookstore where we warmed up and read books.
