Hazel did her first ever race yesterday. Put on by the same people that organize the obstacle course races I’ve done three of this year. Super proud of my little Hazel. Hard to believe that just over three years ago we were celebrating her first steps. It was a 1/2 mile obstacle course, a Spartan Race kids race, and she did awesome. She ran the whole thing. When she slipped on an obstacle, she did her 5 burpees. She was so proud at the end, and keeps talking about doing another race!
Hazel had her first game with the school soccer team. She played super well, especially considering it’s been 4+ months since she played a game.
We took the girls for the long promised and long overdue ear piercing, and then for some nice indian food after.
Hazel had a poetry assignment for school. They had to create a book with a certain number of different styles of poems, including haikus, cinquain, diamante, ballads, ode, and elegy.
We did Tuesday tacos, and Margot was playing with my phone while we waited. She said she was trying to look mysterious.
