Hazel: "Mommy, I’m going to sleep with Daddy every night."
Kim: "Ok"
Hazel: "But in the morning when Daddy goes to exercise, you can have a turn to sleep with me if you’re not nursing Margot, ok"
Kim: "Ahh, Hazel, that’s so sweet. Thanks."
(hug)
Hazel: "Mommy, can we get ice cream cones for desert?"
Kim: "Hazel, we’re having ice cream with berry toppings. If you get a cone, you can’t fit any berries."
(Hazel pauses for a moment to think)
Hazel: "Mommy, I have a solution. How about I hold the ice cream cone with my right hand, and eat the berries with my left hand?"
Kim: "Hmm, well, I guess that’s good solution. Ok, sure."
Margot gems:
Whenever I ask Margot where anything is, she holds her hands up, bent at the elbows, and gives me a quizzical little grin. "been doh"
Margot gives great slobbery open mouthed baby kisses, and she’s learned how to hug.
She loves music and will turn on music in her toys, stand up, and just bounce to the beat of the music.
Geoff takes great care of the girls and me and cooks us delicious dinners shared with loved ones. He leaves me trails of empty string cheese wrappers wherever he goes so I can find him in case of emergency.
I love love love my babies.
