1-2013-06-26 11.22.57Hazel has really, really advanced language skills. I really need to record more of it. Everywhere we go, strangers comment on it. At just under 2 years old, she is forming long, complex sentences, I’ve counted as many as ten words. She uses adjectives correctly, she is starting to get pronouns, and is very good about please and thankyou.

This morning, we were in the garden taking photos.

She said, “daddy, hazel take picture please”

I held the camera while she pushed the shutter, after which she said “thankyou, thankyou daddy for helping me take picture with camera”.
