We are at PoPo’s spending the night. Hazel and I started story time after I was able to set Margo down by herself asleep. After 10 minutes though, MuiMui started to cry so I picked her up so we could resume story time. She promptly fell asleep in my arms.

Then, still sitting upright and cradling Margot in my arms, I snuggled and stroked Hazel’s back with my other hand until she requested to hold my hand to fall asleep. I held her little hand in mine, letting her reposition my hand just the way she wanted to hold it (she’s very particular). With her other hand, she patted Margot’s swaddled legs and said to me, "Mommy, I’m bumming Mui Mui so she doesn’t cry." I said, "I know, you are such a good big sister."

It was so sweet. I love my sweet little babies and their blossoming love for each other. I am so thankful for my new little family of four.

Hazel is an avid, avid reader, and devours books. She seems to pick up and use new words really well too. The funny part is that she frequently uses words that she is learned from a book, but probably hasn’t heard much, so she uses
