Dear Zoe,
This email is longer than most. My parents took me to a science museum. they have a lot of stuff designed for older kids, like Benjamin and Jennifer’s age, but also plenty for toddlers like us. There was even more, but my dad hadn’t charged the camera battery.
First, I got to dig for dinosaur bones:
Then I got to climb up this neat pretend tree. It was hard work!
I don’t think my dad trusted me to go by myself.
Then I rode a bike with a poorly fitting helmet.
My favorite part was the water table. I love splashing. Good thing my parents brought spare clothes to change into!
When the water drops, due to "gravity" the wheel spins!!!!
Carrying buckets of water is AWESOME.
More climbing!
This was a demonstration about conservation of momentum and conservation of energy. they have a whole "Physics Garden". Pretty neat to play with.
We played even more after this, such a fun (and tiring) day!
Love,
Hazel
