Our little girl was born with Jaundice.  Apparently it’s relatively common, affecting something like 1/2 of the babies born.  If it’s treated, it’s no big deal, and we are happy and blessed that she was born with no serious medical issues.  I had a hard time dealing with the jaundice, since it meant she had to be on a light table an we couldn’t hold her, and I can’t imagine how rough it is for parent with babies that need extensive medical treatment  My heart goes out to them. Even with us in the room, Hazel hated being on the table, and would wail and wail.

I did think the photo-treatment looked funny.   If I saw the photo above,without knowing, I’d think it was some pretty messed up parents that put their 2 day old in a tanning booth…

We took the girls for the long promised and long overdue ear piercing, and then for some nice indian food after.

Hazel had a poetry assignment for school. They had to create a book with a certain number of different styles of poems, including haikus, cinquain, diamante, ballads, ode, and elegy.

We did Tuesday tacos, and Margot was playing with my phone while we waited. She said she was trying to look mysterious.
