Pictures from my 1st run down the incredible South Silver Creek.  Thanks to Kim for the photos.  700 feet per mile!  Holy cow.
Sometimes I find albums that bring a smile to my face, like this one from 2006, from my first trip down South Silver Creek. I had seen South Silver in VHS videos, when I was just getting serious about paddling, and it seemed impossible, so to do it was a real “holy crap, I’m doing the run that was in the videos ” moment for me. It was my first time down, the steepest creek I’d ever run, and just a grand day. Really memorable.
